A big-money putt changed the mind of the 10-time City golf tournament champ
Sinking a 50-foot putt last Monday at a charity event in Tennessee forced Kevin Wassmer to change his summer plans.
The putt he made at an NFL Alumni Charity Golf Tournament at Foxland Harbor Golf Club near Nashville was worth $5,000, and when Wassmer decided to accept the cash, he knew it meant the end of his amateur days.
