Meyer ‘obliterates’ his previous best to win City Tourney with record score

Dylan Meyer has been a rising star in Evansville golf circles since his preteen years, but what he accomplished on Sunday — in his words — “obliterated” his previous best showings.

Meyer carded a 6-under 65 at Evansville Country Club to finish the 85th annual Evansville Courier & Press Men’s City Golf Tournament at a record 19-under-par, breaking Kevin Wassmer’s mark of 17-under set in 2002.
